We ship all orders within two business days. Orders are shipped via Australia Post and unless authority to leave is given in the 'comments' section of the checkout, they will require a signature on delivery. All orders have a tracking number, which will be emailed just before the order is dispatched.

Shipping cost - within Australia:

Orders up to $100: flat rate of $8.50

Orders over $100: free shipping

Express Post: $11 per order

Where possible, we prioritise Express Post orders.

USA and Canada (our insurance won't cover us for items sold there)

UK (due to the government collecting VAT on items shipped to the UK, we get too many returns).


Customs and other import duties and fees may be applied to international orders by the destination country. These fees are in addition to the shipping fees we charge. The amount is set by and collected by the destination country. Such fees and charges are the responsibility of the recipient and vary from country to country. Failure to pay any additional fees may result in the forfeiture of your order.

Delivery times - International

Unfortunately we are at the mercy of local delivery and customs services, so cannot give an accurate estimate, but in our experiance most orders will arrive within 2 weeks.

Gift wrapping:

We offer wrapping in great quality paper with a stylish ribbon for a modest fee of $4 (mainly to cover the time it takes to get the wrapping perfect). Select the wrapping option when you select your purchase.

Local pick up:

Sorry, we do not offer a pick-up option. As we work on noisy machinery, we may not hear you knock on the door anyway!


In keeping with our focus on quality and thought for the environment, we do not use plastic in our retail shipping packaging. The toy’s tin box is packaged in a cardboard box and padded with kraft paper. We use recycled materials as much as possible.


Returns Policy

Milton Ashby understands that it can be difficult buying products online as you cannot pick them up and touch them as you would with conventional retail. If you are in any way unhappy with your purchase or change your mind, in most instances we will be happy to exchange, refund or credit you.

Please contact us via email first, after that you will receive a return authorisation number and instructions.

  • Contact us within 7 days of receiving your item
  • Return your purchase within 30 days of purchase
  • Return in perfect condition, unused with all packaging neat and intact.
  • Return at your own expense and packaged up well (we would also recommend sending to us with a tracking number in case of loss in transit)

Missing items or wrong product received

If we have omitted items you have ordered or sent you the wrong product, then don’t worry as we will fix the issue as soon as possible. Please do the following:

  • Double check your order confirmation to ensure that the items received are incorrect.
  • Email us with the details of what is wrong and we will contact you with further instructions.

Faulty products and warranty claims

If your product has a manufacturing defect or has been damaged during delivery we will replace it free of charge.

Our products come with a 12 month warranty, during which period we will replace a defective product free of charge. The warranty does not cover wear and tear, abuse or loss.

Please email us with a description of the problem (preferably with a photo) and your contact details. We will then follow up with further instructions or send a replacement.
